What it costs
The site is one payment. After that it can sit on your own hosting, or on mine. Every figure is on this page.
The thing you're buying
The website
$999 $1,400 one payment
Founding priceThe site comes to you as a folder of files. Those go on whatever hosting you like: your own, or whoever looks after that sort of thing for you. Nothing on the site runs through an account of mine.

$999 is a founding price while I'm building the first handful of sites for local businesses. After that it's $1,400.
Optional, afterwards
If you'd rather I kept it running
The site has to sit on hosting somewhere, and somebody has to change the words when your hours change. That can be you, or anyone you want to hand it to. Or leave it with me, one of these two ways.
Hosting only
$149 a year
The site stays exactly as it is, on my hosting, with the security certificate and the contact form landing in your inbox. Nothing on the page changes unless you ask for it.

Care plan
$75 a month
Everything above, and the changing is mine. New hours, a price, a paragraph, a photo — email me and small ones usually go up the same day.

Bigger jobs are quoted before I start, from $150. That's the same on either one.
Prices are in Australian dollars. I'm not currently required to register for GST, so there's nothing added on top.
Leaving
Leaving, and changing your mind
You can leave whenever you like. I hand the whole site over and move the contact form so it keeps working without me.
If you'd rather neither, the site is yours either way. Change your mind a year from now and I'll take it onto my hosting then and fold in whatever's changed since, usually for the price of one month on the care plan.
You don't pay anything until you've seen the finished site.
